D. Boyd Barnette (Mr. D. Boyd B)

At a very early age, Boyd, as his friends and family call him, began drawing and decided to “draw everything in the world”. He studied Art History and related to local artists.

Painting was a natural progression.

Despite being born with Acute Nystagmus (involuntary eye movement), his art has been prolific. His paintings are technically sound and are subtly subversive as they hint at the hidden realities within everyday visions.

He has worn many hats: father to two daughters; grandfather to two grandchildren.
